Hi all, we are joining the April filers!  N-400 filed online today, 4/22!  Removal of conditions was filed in February 2023, so hoping for a joint interview and quick processing!

Quick question, as I am reading back through all of the posts in this thread.  For those that filed online, did you file a separate biometrics form and pay a fee, or just the N-400?

There's no separate form and the fee is included in the total since April 1st.

Thank you!  That's what I thought - but you know how this process goes - do one thing and then have a massive panic attack thinking you made an error, lol 🤪

Just got back from biometrics... Some of my fingers did not show fingerprints properly, kept showing exclamation points while USCIS tried to retake them again and again... The person taking them said it's okay and how it happens sometimes...

Has anyone experienced that, and will it cause anyd delays?

As long as they took all fingerprints then it should be fine.

I applied online on 4/20 and already got my interview scheduled for 06/03! 😱 DC seems to be flying through cases. Now, the only problem I have is that I'm waiting for Germany's new citizenship law allowing dual citizenship to go into effect 06/26, so I'll have to take my oath after that. Do you think I can ask for a later oath date at the interview? I guess I can always reschedule my oath if I have to... Really didn't expect them to be this fast!

Congratulations! And ugh, that's kinda unfortunate. I don't know what's smarter, rescheduling the interview or the oath.

Did you do expedite case? Did they reuse your biometrics?

No, I did not expedite. My biometrics were reused, though.
