Being in the US as a student, Will form I-130 be processed faster than if I never came here?

I am a student on F1 visa, if my father with a green card applies for form I-130 for me, will I get the green card approved faster than the normal processing time of two and a half years?

Where are you seeing 2.5 years?  Seems to me that both F2a and F2b are going to take longer than that.

It will take a lot longer than that, you will age out into the F2b category.

Its on USCIS processing times website (permanent resident filing for unmarried son under 21) its 32.5 months. It was less before, but it increased.

I am already in the USA, I can submit adjustment of status when the I-130 is approved, it is not a visa application, but an immigration petition. I am asking because someone got his approved in 3 months.

Your priority date must be current to apply for Adjustment of Status.  Being inside the US does not make your priority date current.  This is the December 2023 Visa Bulletin table B:

Not how it works, you need to wait for the PD to be current before you can adjust.

There’s a lot more to the process than USCIS approving I-130. That’s just the first step. You need to do research and understand how the Visa Bulletin works because that determines when you will get a visa or adjust status.

This is only for the I130, not the complete process.  As @Boiler, @Crazy Cat, and @powerpuff stated, the process is much more detailed than just getting the I130 approved.  To answer your question, no, being here on an F1 will not speed up the I130 process.  Once that is approved, you will need to wait out the priority date for an F2A/F2B depending on where you fall.

My birthday is in April 19 in 2024, I will submit my application next week. I am very concerned about my studies because it is very expensive to go to a 4 year university (i am now in a community college), I can get in-state tuition when I adjust status because my brother will be my guardian. So it does not take just two years to process I-130? This visa bulletin thing you guys mentioned is really troubling me..
