I think forums were more active back then - MENA had some crazy threads too.  I debated linking to a few threads I found, because some of the content was so much weirder than what I remembered - but then, some of it is tragic [not all sad tragic, a lot of stupid tragic], so you'll have to search the archives - a lot of content for @Crazy Cat's book. 

 

Good that people got the hint and stop describing their sexual activities with so much details though 😆 .

Have been reminiscing in fond horror (or horrified fondness) about NB-isms throughout the years in CEHST.

 

This raises the question of whether NB (or one of his forebears) wrote the lyrics to the song "Mairzy doats an dozy doats an liddle lamzy divey; a kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?"

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

I think it was mcat891- however the threads have been deleted.  It was hard to believe, yet too weird to be fake in a way.

Ots because you have learned how to interpret the Writing fluency refers to a writer's ability to quickly and easily express themselves in a way that's also easy for their audience to comprehend. A fluent writer has thorough knowledge of spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar rules.

Who is Canadian? I’m English, old chap. We believe that the letter “Z” should be reserved for special words, so realising the intrinsically specialised nature of a 10-point letter tile in Scrabble. 😙
