I'm at the almost 12 month anniversary, my interview was over a week ago & could not be sworn in due to 'the computer system is down', so my file was tossed into a cardboard box on the floor of the office, but USCIS site never updated to show I attended the interview. Concerned I'm in limbo yet again as others have said even when they chose to wait to attend a ceremony their oath date was mailed right away and online status changed immediately. Would love to finally have some certainty in my life so I can go visit my family..

We filed on 11/6/22. Got notice of interview for 12/16/22 today. Holy #######.    I guess I don’t have to go with my husband? Kinda disappointed, but thrilled all the same!

USCIS is such a terrible organization. They embody all of the stereotypes when we think of government organizations

Having had to deal with the FRO in Mumbai on an annual basis for 4 years, dealing with the USCIS has been a breeze. Although paperwork and visa renewals did move quicker in the FRO after paying an “expediting” fee to the interviewing officer 🙄
