Ugh, I filed today (oct 28) but it says I filed oct 29!

This wouldn't be a problem, except I filed online. So, in the 5 years address history, due to the glitch that you can't input PRESENT, I listed living at my most recent place of residence as "until oct 28" (the present date I submitted). That being said, my current address, the same address (in the different section) is still the same address, but it just seems so wrong to flip the date like that.

Does anyone think this will affect something?

day u apply is not important

the PD date is / u will see that when u get the receipt

Not my question. the last day of my address history no longer matches the PD or the apply date (which are the same as I already got receipt)

You are overthinking this. The date you completed and signed the form is consistent with the dates on the form ..  date submitted and PD are non issues

The receipt i talk about comes in the mail after your payment has been processed

Our PD date was different on all our receipts/documentation.

July 4/July 5 AND July 6...

we filed online and the current address went up to July 3.

Not an issue.

The I-130 takes about a year to be approved and it appears quite a few people move during that time.

If you don't move, you have the opportunity to input your address (again) at NVC stage and they will realise there was no gap.

PLUS, they will send news of your NOA2 to your email address and your mailing address.

Thanks a lot. Clear answer for the question at hand. If we do move, do we need to update something else or it can also wait?

I would wait... USCIS will communicate with you via email.

Changing a foreign address cannot be done online. But, changing a US address is fairly easy.

That's all good unless the NOA2 (second notice of action) is an RFE.  The actual RFE is sent in the mail arriving AFTER the email notice.  Most cases do not receive an RFE.
