It happens, not getting the text/email doesn't matter. The important thing is having your receipt number and soon receiving your NOA/extension.

 

Add the receipt # to your USCIS account to get updates there.

So I just realized that I forgot to add the marriage certificate, is that necessary? Don’t they do have a copy already for the aos? Should I send it as additional evidence?

NOA received too. On Friday 9/16.  Looks like the Potomac area is just a bit behind the others but still glad we got it.  Now to wait on the Biometrics....
