Form N-400, Application for Naturalization was denied

Hello everyone!

My sister's Form N-400, Application for Naturalization was denied!

Please, do you know what to do next?

She is 69 years old. Her English also SO-SO. She was able to survive COVID-19 in 2021. But at the end of 2021 she lost her young daughter who passed away from COVID -19. She was hospitalized because of stress, depression and anxiety. She was sick. But because she had appointment with USCIS for her citizenship, she did not want to miss it, and she went to her first interview on March, 18 2022. But she failed. After this USCIS scheduled the second interview for May 18, 2022. She could go and she wrote to USCIS that she is sick because of all these issues supra but USCIS denied her N-400. She has prove for prescription medications and etc. Does somebody know can she apply for N-400 again? And what she needs to do next?

Reapply. Her N400 was rightfully denied. 

 

There are booklets in multiple languages that you can use to study. They're all online on USCIS website

Just be well prepared for the interview,

 

Did she live in the US for 15 years as an LPR? She could be waived for english language requirement if so.

Hello everybody! Thank you for your replies!

She obtained her green card on 08/2018 but lives in US since 2004. She has history of PTSD. I just got her medical history and she is taking right now COVID pill (bcs she got the second time COVID in August) and depression medication bcs of death of her daughter. She still in unstable condition. 

Can USCIS waive English test according her medical history that she is on depression medication and etc.  What to send to USCIS? Can you send the link where I can get info to find out what to do next in her situation.

How did she obtain green card? You need 5 years LPR for N400 putting her at 2023 for that. Or was it marriage to USC and she did 3-yr rule?

1. Old school : she learns one question and answer per day for the next 100 days. This means Day 1, she writes down the question AND writes down the answer for ONE question. 
Day 2, she repeats Day 1 Q and A and learns next moves to the next question.

YOU call / meet her every 5 days and quiz her.

 

2. Her treating physicians diagnose her with cognitive impairment..like Alzheimer’s or onset of Dementia and they adequately certify

Sincere sympathy for her loss and struggle, depression /ptsd is debilitating but won’t help at all w this.
