Covid Vaccine Interview Requirement - Medical done but on hold (merged)

Hi,

We got the medical for my wife and Child (15 years old) however for wife the physician/doctor gave medical report for my wife but for my child the doctor/hospital put the report on hold even though we got 7 recommended vaccines that the doctor wrote saying they cannot give it till both doses of Covid vaccine are administered. The doctor said that if we show the medical payment reciept to the embassy, interview will be allowed.

We are nervous as to what if they refuse to interview our child.

Any ideas whether interview would be allowed. Right?

Thanks,

Sunil

Which consulate are we talking about? At most consulates you can even have the medical after the interview but if you want a clear answer we need to know where the interview will be.

India

and no,  the USC can not go to interview and answer any questions

even a lawyer can not respond to questions at an interview unless the embassy requires this

Does the petitioner have to be present at the interview?

No, only applicants must appear to be interviewed.  from

Hi,

Our child (15 Years Old) didn't have the covid vaccines administered yet. We still had the interview (at Mumbai Consulate) and after the interview, the Officer said our Visa is approved and kept her passport.

Next day I got a call from embassy asking about covid vaccine.  I said both vaccines would be administered in about a month.

Embassy has now sent her passport back and the status on the embassy site says "REFUSED". What does it mean now? Will they interview her again after the vaccine records are sent to them?

Thanks

Probably not, but they won’t issue a visa until she completes the required vaccines, so that’s why they sent the passport back.
