  1. Hi, Our child (15 Years Old) didn't have the covid vaccines administered yet. We still had the interview (at Mumbai Consulate) and after the interview, the Officer said our Visa is approved and kept her passport. Next day I got a call from embassy asking about covid vaccine. I said both vaccines would be administered in about a month. Embassy has now sent her passport back and the status on the embassy site says "REFUSED". What does it mean now? Will they interview her again after the vaccine records are sent to them? Thanks
  2. No. Child is not the biological child of USC. Sorry this is far more complicated then I thought. One more question please. I currently live in India earning Indian Salary and have an offer in US with US salary starting Oct 2022. I have filed US tax returns for last 3 years and have used Indian Salary. I have heard on the forum that I should put zero in my income in I864. Where does it say that the income needs to be zero in the I864 instructions?
  3. How much it would be if Spouse and 15 year old Child of USC (Separate Petitions)? The household size would be 3 so would it be like 28x3 = 84 for spouse but 28x5 = 140 for child? Also where does it say it cant be primary residence?
  4. Hi, I am reading in the I864 instructions the following. For US citizens sponsoring their spouse or children (18 years old or older), the value of the assets must be three times higher then the poverty guideline; My child is 15 years old. Does this mean that if the child is 15 years old, the requirement would be 5 times the poverty guideline? Thanks,
  5. Hi, We got the medical for my wife and Child (15 years old) however for wife the physician/doctor gave medical report for my wife but for my child the doctor/hospital put the report on hold even though we got 7 recommended vaccines that the doctor wrote saying they cannot give it till both doses of Covid vaccine are administered. The doctor said that if we show the medical payment reciept to the embassy, interview will be allowed. We are nervous as to what if they refuse to interview our child. Any ideas whether interview would be allowed. Right? Thanks, Sunil
  6. Hi, Interview (Group) for my wife and child (15 years old) is coming up at Mumbai embassy. Does anyone know if I (Petitioner - USC) can accompany them to the interview? I am submitting I-864 so it would be good if I can accompany them to answer any questions regarding I-864. Thanks
