I just checked the processing time for Texas Service Center and it is now 13 months.. when I submitted our papers 55 days ago, it was around 11.5 months… sigh  😔

Yes it varies up and down. Nothing we can do about that but wait. I'm SRC too filed in January  coming  up on a year soon.

Right you are Sarge, thank you.. I am a little worried though, as we are planning to go outside the country February 2023.. I am just so scared that I will not be allowed entry back with just the extension letter  lol.. I know that is an irrational fear though.

It's not a big deal many people have done it. I've only heard of one case where the folks had a hassle but that was airline specific, I think AeroMexico something like  that.  I would not sweat it, neither would I bank on your ROC being done by trip time, but hey stranger things have happened.

Hi there!

I’m on the same boat as you are! I think there’s someone else in this thread also with no updates, just “case received”.

I already called and raised service requests but the response it’s always the same: wait. I think fingerprints are at the field office’s discretion and mine (Norfolk) is very backlogged.

Since I have the extension letter, I’ll just sit and wait, until I can file n400 - which seems to speed things up.

Hey! So I just got an email as a respond to my e-request and it says:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. Our records indicate that we sent you a denial notice to the address on file at the time. You recently called to inform us that you have not received the notice. The notice has not been returned to us by the post office as undeliverable.  As a courtesy, we will mail a duplicate notice.

Called the USCIS called with the robot and the status is “we recived your case”, checked my online account - as the robot response.

should I be freaking out about gloomy word “denial” or it just simply reffers to biometrics appointment or better, is a mistake.

Any input?

Thx!

I would try not to panic yet. It might be worth calling again to try to speak to a Tier 2 officer?
