UK Secondary School Degree/Diploma

Hello,

 

As a UK citizen and resident since my childhood I am wondering how best to fill in the DS-260 question regarding my secondary school degree/diploma, since we don't have high school diplomas in the UK. Should I just state my GSCE and A Level results? Or maybe how many passing grades I got in each?

If u have UK birth certificate,  and /or other documents like UK passport ,  secondary evidence is not needed

 

Once an applicant has demonstrated that a required primary document is unavailable, the applicant may submit appropriate secondary evidence, such as church or school records pertaining to the facts at issue.

Since your visa is family based, the education portion is is not that pertinent to qualifying for a visa. I would say “completed secondary education”.

I put information in pertaining to the "institutions" where I completed by A levels & GCSE's, and in the course of study I just put ACADEMIC. I didn't provide any supporting documents for my A levels & GCSE's.

 

I should be getting my documents reviewed by the NVC this week, so will let you know if I had any issues.

That description sounds fine. You don’t need supporting documents as your visa eligibility is not linked to your education level.

They are referring to Primary School and Secondary School information when it comes to answering the ds260.. In some countries we call it Primary School as opposed to Elementary School, and Secondary School instead of High School..

i know

in Morocco high school is called college 

 

but when a person has the main  UK passport(primary evidence) ,  all the secondary evidence is not needed like school transcripts and baptism cerificate /  this is not needed as she is UK citizen

I believe they are asking about ds-260 question about their education and not referencing the evidence section on I-130.

This is about the DS260, not the I-130.  Above is irrelevant to the OP's question.
