  1. Hello everyone. I am so distraught right now. I entered the US on Jan 26. I've been regularly checking up on my physical green card. I decided to just be patient then yesterday when I looked up the status, its says my GC was delivered on 14 April. There's nothing in the mail. I'm so worried. Its shows the correct zip code and the exact time it was supposedly delivered but I have not received it at all. What should I do?
  2. Ahh.. I think interview letters come either at the end of the month.. I waited about three weeks for mine (7Nov till 30th Nov) In the meantime its best to get the medical booked and done so at least by the time you interview, the Embassy has all your medical info sent over.
  3. Dq: 7 Nov Interview letter: 30 Nov.. It was an email not a physical letter. You have to book your own medical and attend it sometime between DQ and your actual interview. I called visa medicals on 9 Nov and made a booking to come in for my medical on 21 December (excuse me for my mistake above where I said 20 December) Yeah it seems about 2 months from DQ to the actual interview..
  4. That's amazing! We were DQ November 7th. I immediately booked my medical on Nov 9th for 20 December.. Interview letter came Nov 30 for Jan 11.. I'm so glad to see timelines are improving.. Best wishes!
  5. Final submission to NVC: 22 Sept DQ: 7 Nov IL received: 30 Nov Medical scheduled for: 21 Dec Interview date: 11 Jan 2023
  6. Hi guys.. After a long back and forth with my GP, I finally got a response for my vax records request. But its just an Excel-style spreadsheet with my name on the top. No official letterhead or anything from the GP. Is that what its supposed to look like? They've been an absolute nightmare to deal with.
  7. Hi @Wuozopo I think you've answered this question for me before but I couldn't find the thread. Do I need all 3 doses of hep B by my medical? Also where can I get the Influenza shot? Should I just get them at the medical and save myself the hassle?? Those are the only two I need to get.
  8. Hi all. Just wanted to update you all. Finally got DQ. I-130 submission: 2 Feb 2022 I-130 approved: 24 April 2022 Submitted docs to NVC: 6 May 2022 RFE1: 18 July 2022 (Wrong AoS form submitted correct form same day) RFE 2: 19 September 2022 (Previously accepted tax exemption letter was suddenly denied, taxes filed and tax document submitted 22 September) DQ: 7 November 2022.
  9. Sorry if this is derailing, but can someone who has managed to get through to NVC share the number they used?
  10. According to the NVC timeframes documents are being reviewed within 1month and 29days of submission.. Hang in there!!
  11. All the best for next week hey. This waiting game is insane. But we have to keep at it to be reunited with our loved ones.
  12. No problem at all! First RFE in July: We had filled in i-1864EZ and they wanted i-1864 because they said he didn't qualify for EZ (even though we met all the criteria)... EVERYTHING else was accepted. Submitted i-1864 as told to do. Second RFE in September: The letter stating my husband's tax extension (which was previously accepted) was all of a sudden rejected. So we sorted that out and are now waiting.
  13. Hi all! I didn't see a September submissions thread on here so I decided to start one! We got RFE'd (twice now 😫 first in July and then in September) and submitted required documents on the 21st of September. If anyone else submitted in September, join the thread and let's keep each other company during this gruelling wait.
  14. I've just seen that now about needing only the 1st shot. Its true. I just happened to have the time to run around πŸ˜‚ Plus I'm a cheapskate so I didn't want to get Stateside and pay for something I could've gotten for free in the UK πŸ˜‚ Yeah talk to your doctor and get your boosters. Mind you, I made an appointment for my Varicella shot back in April for June. When June came, they told me I couldn't have it because apparently that's the same shot they're using for Monkeypox πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ. I have an issue in itself because I booked my medical before I got DQ because I was soo positive I'll get DQ before my medical... Now my medical is 18days away πŸ™†πŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ™†πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ But you know what they say: Do as I say not as I do πŸ˜‚ This immigration journey is one full of twists and turns, (and money too!) I wish you the very best. Did you say you and yours are doing DCF?
  15. I've just seen you're in Germany, I'm in the UK. So maybe different.. But some require two doses (MMR), while TDap was only one shot. Then I also had to slot in my Covid shots (I had been avoiding it, silly, I know). So basically since March I had a shot every 3 to 4 weeks. But the TDap and 1st MMR I got together then after 4 weeks, got my 1st Covid. 3 weeks after that I went in for 2nd MMR, then after 3 weeks I got my 2nd Covid one. I just realised I need Hep B today when I read this thread πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ, so I called my GP and they made an appointment to see the nurse on Wednesday to get it. I am trying to avoid paying for them at the medical, because I can get them for free through a nurse at my local GP.. But, considering that at the medical you pay to get the ones you don't have, then I suppose you could get them all done at once. It's only just for me? They started as though I'd never had a single shot, for the sake of having my records ready for my medical.
  16. They usually require you to have an appointment beforehand. I had to space out my vaccinations (because I had to get them ALL because I came to the UK at 19 and my mother had since lost the records from my home country). If you can, call in and ask if you can, because the nurse administers them, not the doctor.
  17. I saw on an FB group that someone got a DQ from a 26th June submission.. Time is getting closer..
  18. Thank you so much for your all your help. If it clears up things a bit more, they've put this training down as a TDY.. Don't know whether that even helps or not. The only reason I'm starting to get antsy is because people who have been DQd recently (June 2022), are still waiting for an IL from the London Embassy. Otherwise everything has gone quite smoothly for us, our i-130 was approved in 2 months so really I can't complain.
  19. Hello all. Hubby and I submitted our documents to NVC on May 5, got our AOS rejected 18 July (they said he doesn't qualify to use I-864EZ, even though we were sure he didπŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ), and immediately made the correction (submitted I-864).. We have now gotten news that he has been booked for Enlisted Academy training in a different state with the earliest possible date being in January and latest being in March. I can't go with him for the duration of his training, so he wants me Stateside and settled before he has to go. Now for the questions: 1) Are these valid grounds for expedition at NVC? 2) Will sending an expedite request affect my wait time for documents review? 3) How long does it take to hear if our request for expedite has been accepted or denied? 4) What supporting documents would we need to provide? We're dealing with the London Embassy.
  20. Had to resubmit AOS on July 18.. Goodluck guys!
  21. Hi there. I just had a question.. How long does it take to get feedback on your expedite? Whether accepted or denied.
  22. Hi guys. Just got an email from NVC a few minutes ago. My husband filled in i864EZ but we got a message saying he doesn't qualify to fill in this form. (Even though he does) What do we do now.
  23. They are referring to Primary School and Secondary School information when it comes to answering the ds260.. In some countries we call it Primary School as opposed to Elementary School, and Secondary School instead of High School..
  24. Thank you πŸ€—πŸ€—
