I have married my fiance from Ukraine and I'm filling the I-485 form and got confused with these questions on the form. Appreciate your responses in the same order of my questions below:

1) What is that I need to enter for 25a? It is not taking numbers so couldn't type K1 (as mentioned in the I-94 for admission status)

image.png.15b1228c7127b68a1216594157dba4dc.png

2) What shall I enter for 27? I know married is not the immigration status so shall I enter K1

image.png.56d913772b9979af7b12e212b1c93c65.png

3) This doesn't apply to my wife, right? What I read and understood that derivative applicant is the spouse of the person applying for adjustment of status or a child below 21 year of age. Is my understanding right?

4) I should include our wedding too and answer, right?

image.png.76949ac70f2786c75af5ddb8049d4f30.png

5) Do I need to put in the I-129F K1 visa petition receipt number here?

image.png.6a674e00c7f100d1e20905c61be367e4.png

6) Can I skip answering "Yes" or "No" for questions like 63b as I answered "No" to 63.a?

Thanks much in advance!

Immigration status not your marital status.

If i94 hasn't expired, "Fiance".

Do I need to submit separate I-485 applications for her kids of ages 8 & 15?

Yes, separate I-485 packages for each child.

Also, what is that I need to enter for my fiance's kid below? Kid of Fiance or Son of Fiance?

"K2 visa holder" (I assume both children entered with K2 visas).

Hi, I have filled in the I-485 applications for my wife and her two kids (son-15, Daughter-8) and have the following questions:

1) I'm not using an attorney to file the 485 applications and doing it myself so just wondering if I should use an attorney to just review the applications and the I-864 application and the supporting evidence in order or not. Where can I find such an attorney who can can just review and let me know what I'm missing or any corrections are needed? If anyone used such services what's a reasonable fee I should expect?

2) Do I need to fill three I-864 (affidavit of support) forms, one for each application or one I-864 can be used for all three I-485 forms?

3) Regarding the immunizations all of the three got some of the vaccinations before the K1 visa interview and the kids got some for the upcoming school admission from the health department. There are still some balance vaccinations to be done I think. My wife has the COVID-19 vaccination but not the kids so I should get the COVID-19 vaccinations done now for the kids from the health department? Even the 8 year old should get the COVID-19 vaccination?

Appreciate your responses in the same order. Thanks much!

I just got a RFE for the I-864 last week. I couldn't make heads or tails of what was missing since they write it in a general way.

Many people on here gave me some great advice on how to write it out next time.

I did pay an immigration attorney a consultation fee today to get his input, $150.00

He gave a list of what I should do and different ideas.

Myself, being a self employed contractor, makes it extremely hard on the I-864 since we don't have a constant paycheck every Friday and we can claim so many deductions on taxes, it shows we are below poverty level.

Can you share the contact details of the immigration attorney so I could contact for reviewing my application before I submit? Thanks!

Three I-864 forms, one for each I-485 package.

At the K1/K2 visa medical, your wife and kids should have received their vaccination worksheets, either DS-3025 or DS-7794.  There should be a line in those worksheets saying something like, "Required vaccinations complete - Yes/No".  Check if their worksheets are marked complete.  If complete, then they do not need additional vaccinations for their AOS application.  If not complete, then they need to get the remaining vaccinations and have a civil surgeon fill out an I-693 form for each of them.
