Parents are immediate relatives so no such thing as family file.

Siblings are not but are not connected, so both parents have their I 130 and then one for each sibling. You can do them all at the same time. Best to get siblings in asap due to the long wait.

Thank you so much for your response. So I can file for my parents and siblings at the same time. So if I file for my parents they should be able to come here in 2 years and my siblings should be able to come in about 10 years, correct?

Hopefully Parents will be quicker.

Siblings, my guess would 25 to 30.

If they are not married and do not intend to get married then Parents can petition them as well when they get here. That might be nearer 10 years.

Yes for siblings its is 25-30 months for USCIS but overall it takes 10 years.

Hmm I am not sure if that is a typo but with long wait times the specific time it takes to process the I 130 does not really matter,  the Priority Date is key.

Nope, nothing for me yet, it says on one of my parents, 3 weeks to go, the other is taking longer. I saw that too. Hopefully we hear something too.

Same for my in-laws. Only one has a case created at NVC so we're not even if we should continue processing or wait for the other one to catch up .

Greetings everyone,

I would like to share an update regarding our immigration process for my mother-in-law (MIL). On May 26, 2022, we submitted the I-130 application on her behalf. Subsequently, on September 15, 2022, we submitted the I-765, I-131, and I-485 applications, along with a request for Concurrent Filing alongside the I-130. Today, we received approval for the EAD Combo, which is valid until June 2025. We are delighted that her EAD application has been approved.

While following this thread, I have noticed that many individuals have received their Green Card (I-485) directly without obtaining an EAD first. This has made me curious about the process for my MIL. Is it normal for her to receive the EAD first, and then for the USCIS to continue reviewing her I-485?

I just checked on the status of MIL I-130 and its stating:  "Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time."

I thought the time frame for 1-130 is usually around 9 - 11 months.
