Still it wont be a problem. When she gets her receipt number, she could add the case in her online account. So she could get updates online.

At the bottom of my receipt notice document, it calls out center name and location. In my case it's Nebraska though I live in Texas.

My husband is preparing to file for his mom and dad. They live in Punjab , India . There is one section in I-130 about providing name and address native language . Do we type it in Punjabi and then upload it or leave it blank??

I think if you left it as English, should be fine. I think that section is for people whose home country does not use English. In India, they use English so in my opinion it should ok to leave it blank.

Hi. Thanks for creating this thread. I filed

I-130 for my mom on May 2022 and still no new update aside from Notice of Receipt dated the same day. Its almost 4 months now. My case is assigned to Texas Service Center. Anyone here filed last May and got an approval already? Mine still says being actively reviewed.

For the i-130 sponsor for parents. It takes around 9-12 months to be approved. Just keep waiting! be patient. Uscis had a lot of backlog cases due to Covid19. It slowed all cases.

I filed for my parents on 04/02/2022 and still hear nothing from Uscis.

Good luck

My mother is in USA and I am filing I-130 and I-485 for her. Need help with below questions:

1- Where does the benficiary lives now (should I put current US my address or back home country address)

2- Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien? (Will the answer be Yes, since I did file the pettion I-130 for my father earlier this year)

Don't overthink the questions. Read literally ..

where is she living ? If she is living with you and adjusting stsrus then her address is your address

Have you ever filed a petition .. either you have or you haven’t.. you answered your own question .. yes , you filed for your father..  so easy answer.. yes

Despite what it sometimes feels like, there are actually no trick questions.
