B1/B2 visa for Ukrainian during war

Ukrainian, who apply for tourist visas in different country during war? Who get approved for visas ?

Will depend of a lot like every time someone apply for a visitor visa. 

Why is this person trying to get a visitor visa exactly? Is he/she trying to use the visa to come and live here? 
 

He/She will need to shows exactly the same like anyone else when applying for the B1/B2 visa. I don’t think the rules will change just because of the current situation. If this person is living in another country, he/she are in a safer situation. 

 

Does this person is already resident in the new country? Have a job? Any other strong ties?

 

IMO will not be easier.  And because of the COVID delays, lot of countries are facing long waiting for tourist visa, in some cases 1 or more for an appointment.

There is some info about this here, looks like Warsaw is the embassy to go through fir non-immigrant visas for Ukrainians:

If you are a Ukrainian who wants to travel to the United States or a U.S. citizen who has friends, business associates, or NON-IMMEDIATE family who want to travel to the United States on a nonimmigrant visa:

• Demand is extremely high, availability is low, and wait times and processing times are likely to be very lengthy. You may wish to refer to the humanitarian relief information above.
• If you already have an appointment at U.S. Embassy Warsaw but wish to expedite it, you may request expedition via https://www.ustraveldocs.com/pl/en/expedited-appointment.
• If you already began a nonimmigrant visa application process in Ukraine, you may send a request to Support-Poland@ustraveldocs.com to ask for transfer of your “profile” to Warsaw, after which you should be able to continue the process for a Warsaw appointment.

I am applying for my sister, her husband and 2 kids. They both employed and have dissent income.  My mom and dad have 10 years tourist visas and have been to the States 3 times no longer that 10 days for each trip. Also, they are not planning to stay and work here, just visit me. 
 

we are applying to Warsaw, since it’s the fastest way to get the appointment and the approval rate seems  fare there.

Just curious where you got the info that Warsaw is the fastest?

My friend is working with US visas for 17 years. She told me that. She is helping me with applications.

With the emergency requests it’s up to one month. The reason of ER we put war in Ukraine. Her last client got an appointment in 2 weeks she said . I just talked to her today

So they're doing emergency requests for tourist visa appointments for Ukraine? If that's the case, why would the embassy site not update to say that....strange. Instead it says the opposite: "Demand is extremely high, availability is low, and wait times and processing times are likely to be very lengthy." and again here:

 

"For certain types of visas, particularly B1/B2 visas, there is a significant wait time and we expect this to remain for some time.  To schedule an appointment, please visit https://www.ustraveldocs.com/pl/en"

 

I'm just trying to make sense of what the actual situation is versus the official info published on the embassy sites.

I understand and I pulled that info directly from the Warsaw website. I just wish the DoS would update their sites with what is really going on and stop giving out wrong info if things on the ground are different.

Casa says 118 for B2 and our MIL was only 77 days so,  either it changes fast or they don't know/ i would guess the "they don't know"

I've just never seen on any official source that Ukrainians are getting expedited B visa appointments at Warsaw. Would be nice if they could update that.

Just to clarify, you cannot apply for them. They have to apply by their own merits, mainly strong ties to their home country.
