No... I meant that on April 5th, March accounted for 12% of all status changes, whether they are approved, denied, expedited, etc. January only had 9%. I got it from the total cases tab from the big sheet

ah my apologies, I usually look on mobile so miss parts

Makes sense it's higher than Jan though as focus is in Feb, moving to March slowly. Jan is basically done except for unfortunate 12% stragglers + RFEs

do you mean Feb? Although I believe feb had more approvals than March. If the 12% is from the big spreadsheet, that includes expedites and previous rejections etc so it's not 12% this week. Feb would have been at a similar % when they started focusing.
Jan is at ~67% done, 21% at RFE stage so they're actually 88% cases responded to which isn't bad. Feb is at ~53% but focus is still there, not March. General rule of thumb is they start a new month at 50% then move main focus at about 80%. So when feb hits 80% March should have the main focus of approvals.
Wishing everyone speedy approvals!

so you what you  are saying is, once they processed 80% for a particular month, they move on to  the following month.? and leaving all those unfortunate 20%? what would happened to them. are they still going to get process? is so when?

apologize for to many Qś. it seem you have an inside knowledge on how they work. I starting to get an impression that you know somebody from the  inside, which is good for us.

Reading the timeline, it does look like our date is moving to earlier and earlier. NOA1 was March 28th. And the timeline is predicting between May 24, 2023 and June 2, 2023.

Now this seem kind of unbelievable though. If we receive NOA2 this week, it takes time to reach NVC and then scheduling in India, I am sure will take a lot more time. What is the expert opinion on this?

I don't I just watch the data and make assumptions based on that. I've also worked with goal orientated offices before. They don't leave 20% behind, most of the months are 80-90% done with almost the last 10-20% being in RFE stage. I'm just saying they may be more motivated to be fast on getting to 50 and 80% because those are their main metrics, then it may slow down a bit or maybe it's just because it's difficult to process 100% before you move to the next. It's not set up that way. No office is. That's why all visas take x to y months.

Good enough! I’m glad we have someone like you who put lots of time and effort on their processes. I worked at a production business before, it’s not same but similar goal, we have this thing called quotas. Once we reached that, we can slack off the remaining time.

I myself came up with a conclusion that the more complex the case is, it is more likely will end up in the back burner.

The date range is when they expect only your NOA1 to be adjudicated. It is not when they expect for your or your spouses K1 visa to be issued.
