Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 7, 2023
Embassy Review : Interview was smooth like glass. It took less than 10 mins. a few questions was asked.(its a good thing because she only has 3 hours of sleep the night before) . My worry was about my divorce decree because she only has a copy of it. people saying here that a divorce decree with a wet signature is a must. There was a big debate about this issue on here. actually she was asked about the original but never demanded and never an issue. they were ok with just a copy.

Overall consulate staff are very friendly....
Rating : Very Good

04/09/2022, received NOA1 hard copy. upon review I found beneficiaryś first name written as NINA. In my I-129F application I typed in NIÑA with the Ñ. Would this be a concerned in the future?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
