Hello, anyone here has used japan airlines for a 16 yr old unaccompanied K2 for travel from Philippines to US? Japan airlines has a good one way airfare for June right now.

My then fiancée, is now my wife, her 15 yrs old son is following to join as a K2 visa. We are now starting to process his paperwork. He will be traveling alone out of the country the first time. I was told that he’s going to need a travel clearance from dswd office. He will be turning 16 yrs old in May. His estimated departure date is on June. Can anyone confirm this?

So I turned in my AOS package a few months ago. My local uscis office has ask me for additional evidence to process my form i-485. I understand all the required evidence including pictures of wedding and other events. My question is, is it acceptable to turn in photo albums in black in white? I am choosing to mail my evidence to them instead of downloading to my uscis account. I just dont have a color printer at home and it is more expensive than black and white.

finally received hard copy of wife noa for i-485 and i-765. any one know the waiting period for i-765?

so this is what happened. when we scheduled my niece for her visa interview in ustraveldocs, we accidentally chose ir2 as her visa category. then she went to her medical at st lukes and was grateful that the staff there caught our mistake. she suggested to use f1 visa instead. so we logged back in in her ustraveldocs account and trying to change her visa category but no success. here was the fixed. we cancel her visa interview appointment. after it was cancelled, we scheduled a new appointment for her. this gave us option to choose the proper visa category. so now she has the correct visa category. she just lost her previous visa appointment. we found out that its ok to cancel a visa interview appointment as long as its more 48 hrs prior to the interview day.

she does have an approved petition. while we filling out her info in ustraveldocs, we accidentally choose ir2 instead of f1. how do we want to change it to f1 visa category.

My wife aos package was received by uscis on Oct 27th. Up until now there is no word from them. Is there a way I can follow up the status of the aos?

Yes! I have included G-1145 form, I made sure it is located on the top of all the forms. And sent the package to chicago lockbox for WA State residence. my wife has ssn prior to submitting forms but needs the i-765 approval so she can work.

You filed I-765 with the 485? I read somewhere to wait for 485 receipt and then turn in 765 with receipt from 485.

if you go to SLEC website. they give you a flow chart. First thing is to check in and pay the fee at the front desk. Most of us paid at the hospital. Make sure to schedule your medical within 1 or 2 weeks prior to your interview day.

check out japan airlines. you buy a one way ticket for about $700. make sure to go to japan airlines philippines website.

same here. fiancee medical is august 31st. interview is on September 7. 1 week apart. last time we check for st lukes, lots of opening, but not so much for K1 inteviews. good luck!!! Based on reading here, medical result is given to fiancee and carry it to the interview but some say st. lukes sends the result automatic. make sure to advice fiancee to ask.

so my noa2 is expiring august 31st. When we got our status ready few weeks ago, the earliest visa interview available was September 7th. so we secured that day for her interview. What can I do from my end, should I contact manila embassy by phone to have it extended or they do it automatic without me asking? Thanks....
