DECEMBER 2021 1-129F K1 FILERS

For those who have just filed your I-129f application with USCIS, this thread has been created for your needs and for you to be with others experiencing different aspects of this journey. This is a place to ask questions and to share experiences. All are here to learn together. Stay patient because this is a long process currently running 6 - 9 months for your NOA2 approval. Then depending on your embassy, you will be dealing with backlogs. 

 

Also note that USCIS goes by "Received date" not NOA-1:

Example

I-129 F Sent -  December 5, 2021

I-129 F Received - December 9, 2021

I-129 F - Notice Date - December 17, 2021

 

In this example your NOA-1 should be December 9. This will help you fill out your timeline properly.

Received by USCIS - December 10 (Friday)

 

Credit card was charged (application fee) - December 13 (Monday).

 

Text with receipt/case number received from USCIS - December 14 (Tuesday).

I received NOA1 on 6th december 2021, but my concern I want to update my passport birth place , will it impact on my visa process??
