Hello members, I please have a question, when you filed for your parents, did you need THEIR birth certificates?

Also, will they need to submit police clearance reports for countries they lived in since they turned 16?

I filed online and no you don't need their birth certificate or police clearance when you file. We might need them later in the process but not when you file.

DEC 7th : Submitted I-130

March 5: Case is being actively reviewed

I applied online for my parent on Dec 13 and received the notice right away. It still says National Benefits Center (no known Service Center), I also have status change as of March 5 "Case is being actively reviewed". What does it mean?

I guess it means they start looking at our cases 🤞

the center should be written at the notice you received, in the lower corner
