  1. I don’t have any form number I only have receipt number for her i130 approval what should I type in form number? ”form number for previously approved application or petition” (I did type her receipt number in the receipt form section)
  2. I’m about to fill out the form i824 for my mother (for Uscis to send the case to NVC) what should I write in country of citizenship or nationality (I got my citizenship through naturalization) don’t wanna make any mistakes now
  3. Thank you! should I file with Uscis or CBP and which documents should I attach with? seems like there are very less instructions about this form
  4. I’m about to file this form did you file it as a petitioner or as a beneficiary? and where did you file it?
  5. I’m in the same boat and I’m about to file i824 for my mom i130 it seems like there is a confusion about the address which address did you send i824?
  6. If I did fill that part I did for both and if I didn’t fill that part I didn’t filled for my dad as well because I’m sure both of their applications were same
  7. I’m not sure but I think I put nothing for both of them because they’re not living in the US so consulate will be outside of the us
  8. I don’t understand what mistake I made because I filed my dad’a petition same as to my mom I just checked they both are same but he got approved since August
  9. Today my mom’s case status has been changed to approve but it’s really confusing I’m going to paste it below because when they approved my dad’s case they just directly sent it to nvc “The above petition has been approved. However, you did not indicate on the petition whether the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate or will apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Therefore, USCIS has retained the petition. If the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status in the United States, they should submit a copy of this notice, along with a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. They can obtain Form I-485 from the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov, by contacting the USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283, or by visiting the local USCIS field office. Filing address information can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov. If the beneficiary decides to apply for an immigrant visa outside the United States based on this petition, you should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that require consular action. The NVC also determines which consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. It will then forward the approved petition to that consulate. The NVC will contact the beneficiary of this petition with further information about immigrant visa processing steps. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A VISA AND MAY NOT BE USED IN PLACE OF A VIS” please advice
