Hello everyone.

I´ve been seeing that some have filed, on top of the i-130, the k3 as well, as a form of expedite, and I was wondering if this is something that we should do, since we havent heard anything so far and we filed i-130 on sep 25th.

Sept. 25th was literally 2 months ago when the Service centers are at 9 months and longer. And no it's not expediting anything. that a phenomena that started about 4 years ago and has not happened again. But you are free to file it.

Thank you both for your prompt response, I´m quite new to this, so im trying to be thorough with everything, patience isn´t my strongest suit :D

i cant agree more with this sentiment.

 

OP. i've been waiting exactly 1 year. my PD is 11/30/20 at potomac. the moment USCIS cashed my check on 12/28/20 , the status changed to " case is being acttively reviewed ). that was 11 months ago LOL...nothing yet

Ditto! Sit back and relax, it's going to be a while to get to a Lima interview.
