Hello Members,

So NVC has sent out an E-mail for Interview for my Wife without police report. I had put it in explanation that due to  COVID, She is not able to prepare her police report. Interview is on October 18, 2021. Now finally my wife is able to make police report. When I login to NVC site, it says it's missing police report with rejected mark.

1. Should I upload the police report that I just got it from my wife in NVC site, Will that again push the interview date since it will have to be reviewed again?

2. Or should I just bring the original police report at the interview?

3. I only got E-mail interview notice, Does NVC not send any interview letter or do my wife just take interview notice that was e-mailed from NVC

Thanks

If an interview has been scheduled, take the police report to that interview.

NVC doesn't send any mails, so the printout of the interview email by NVC is good enough.

I suggest you also upload the certificate on the ceac portal before going to the interview, may be just a day before. Interview is already scheduled, any uploads will now be reviewed the embassy, not by NVC. Lots of times, people have been asked to upload docs (like revised birth cert, i864, and such they brought to the interview) to the portal after the interview as COs usually don't make a copy to upload themselves, thus delaying the approval.

Definitely download it to CEAC site and take original to interview

we have seen too many posts here saying "they put me in AP for needed documents even though i had them with me at interview and CO would not look at what the documents i had on hand"
