: my case was received 09/10/2021

Approval : TODAY!!!!!!!!! , it says actively being reviewed this morning so I thought it would go in that status for a few months and didn't put my mind on it, than I looked at the documents section and the APPROVAL NOTICE WAS THERE!!!!!!!

I just want to say thank god because they had denied my first case(applied in 2019 denied 2021) for my husband and I fought back and made another case and in less than 6 months my case is sent to the NVC center.

I pray for everyone who files to have hope and never lose it.

So happy for you! Congratulations!

FWIW, in Vermont I've noticed that people get AR almost five months to the day from the day of filing. Then approval within 2-2.5 months from AR.

Is this for USC or LPR pls?

Active Review Feb 7

Approved Feb 8

Congrats, what is the service center that sent an approval notice? Did you have the second AR or was it your first? My PD is one day after yours so I'm curious if I should hope for some movement on my case any time soon.

mine was also active reviewed on 02/07 approved 02/08 , and it was also my first AR. I think USCIS works on a bunch of cases and updates them all in one day and some are lucky to be in that bunch. however if you get the app Case tracker you can see the cases that were approved before and after yours and its the same trend every month they approve a bunch of cases and than maybe like 1 or 2 throughout the remaining days.

i am in a dilemma

so I applied in sep2021

approved February 7,2022,

sent to NVC with a new case # by February 11

all so quick ..... I know some people might think I am lucky but I have applied before and got denied for the same petition for my husband.

I am a US citizen and all that's left is the NVC stage I don't want to get it done now cause I am in school and I thought it would come out after the term finishes so I can go and travel with him to the embassy location.. so would it affect me if I leave it as it is for a few months until like July? I feel like if I sent in all the required docs he would need to travel in a month or two on how quick my application is being processed and I can't handle that right now... :(((((

any advice ??

thxs

@H18 First of all, congrats on your approval. In terms of what are your worries - as far as I know, NVC keeps the records for a full year before rejecting it due to no progress on it so I wouldn't worry about that. Even if you wouldn't be able to send it in the next 365 days, you can contact them from time to time to expand this deadline. Imo you can submit what you can now and when you'll be ready submit the rest and make NVC process it. I'm actually in the very similar situation to yours. I sent I-130 in September 2021 and still have some things that will prevent me from going to the States, at least not before the autumn this year, or more probably, the beginning of 2023. I think it's just nice to have this USCIS stage passed as soon as possible, since it takes the most of the time
