I-130 I-130A case Denied

Hi there everyone... please i need help about my I-130 in a month ago i send the document in.... i received the notice letter 4 week after they ask for more evidence which i did send it.... a week after the case was denied......

 

my first Question is that my wife in Nigeria does she need to sign the form I-130A because on the form it said if your spouse is out of the country she doesnt have to sign...

 

 

what are my Option do i need lawyer to file appeal ...

No need for your wife to sign the I-130A form if she is outside the US.

It seems you didn't file the application well, get a lawyer and refile again.. please don't appeal because it takes too long to consider and may also be denied

What was the reason for the denial?  Appealing or re-filing might be a waste of time, depending on the reason.

If that's the reason, you cannot win an appeal when the mistake is yours. File again correctly.  That you made this big of a mistake the first time, might mean you don't have the skills to do this on your own.  Some VJ partners offer free initial consultations.  https://www.visajourney.com/partners/

You can file another petition right away.

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

2016-05-10: N-400 Sent

2016-05-16: N-400 NOA1

2016-05-26: Biometrics

2017-01-30: Interview

2017-03-02: Oath Ceremony
