Hello, wondering how to find out which service center is processing I-130 for a resident/citizen of Georgia (my mother in law filing for her husband).

We received a noticed they received the petition and case # on April 6th but no further information which of the 5 centers is the one to check for processing times?

Look at the receipt notice.  Be aware that USCIS can transfer to any other service center at their discretion.

…and even without notifying you! Apparently, they’re not obligated to do so anymore. So it helps to check up on your service center every once in a while to be aware of the actual processing time.

it seems crazy that 1 center has 6 months processing time and the potomac has up to 17 months.. they are not even in april of 2020 yet. i do hope that they do something about this

Don’t get discouraged by that! We were first assigned to NSC (1-7 months!!! according to USCIS) and then transferred to CSC (22-29 months; without notification btw). We were devastated. But in the end, we got approved after 7 months. I wish you a speedy approval! 🍀

We were super frustrated when we learned that.  We called USCIS about the transfer of our petition and the agent just said that USCIS has a page for transfer alerts.  Apparently, USCIS now considers a generic "Transferred some cases from to " line as sufficient notification and we're supposed to figure out ourselves if our particular case was included in the transferred batch 🙄  Sigh.

Do you happen to know where that transfer alert page is? The only notice I got is from March 26th which is the Receipt Notice and the bottom lists Potomac Center. So i guess I am to assume thats who has it right now.

Do you happen to know what box to check on the update alert page attached to this link?  I can't find one specifically for transfer updates.  Any help is appreciated. :)

Scroll down that linked page for the actual transfer updates from USCIS.  They are listed by year at the bottom.  We didn't sign up for the email alerts, so no idea if those have more detail than the generic announcements on that web page itself.

Thank you.  So no update details for 2021?
