So no update details for 2021?

None so far.

If you are curious about where your petition is being processed, best to chat with Emma online or call the USCIS hotline.

Look at the receipt notice.  Be aware that USCIS can transfer to any other service center at their discretion.

Do they send us a notification if the service center has been changed? How do we find out if we are in the same service center or we've been moved elsewhere?

Emma doesn't tell about which service center your application is currently at, it just routes to the default page 😕

They sent us an official notice (2016), but I have seen many members, here, say they were NOT informed.

OK, I am trying to sort this out. I filed electronically. Receipt date is 9/1/2021 (Nebraska) - so 4 months now with no touches.

Processing time is 3.5 -7 months. 4 months is in the window.

It seems I have no way of knowing if my petition is still at NSC until it goes over 7 months and I can finally submit an inquiry.

Then USCIS will then tell me where my petition really is (maybe).

Is this a correct understanding?

Ok I found the hack to this situation, when you are at the live chat, write 'Live agent' or 'Talk to live agent' to emma a couple of times, and you will be handled by an actual person within a few minutes, but be sure to have the petitioners everything ready, like phone number, email, address etc only then you will be told about your service center.
