Hello all,

Here is our situation:

Kyle & Maria's Immigration timeline:

FILED-10/4/2019

NOA1-10/21/2019

NOA2-2/4/2020
*Still no interview

This is particularily frustrating as we are seeing other couples getting their interviews even though they filed months after us? How is this even fair>

Anyone else in the same boat?

@Chancy Thanks for the reply. Yea, I've seen pretty much everything my stomach can handle. My questions is; Is there anyone with a similiar timeline experiencing the same thing, where others are getting their interview even though they filed way after us. That's is the million dollar question. I know expedited appointments are the exception but com'on

Go to your timeline and click “Show similar timelines”. You will see many others with similar dates as you. You can toggle the results so it shows more than 20.

Have you thought about meeting your fiance in a non visa country for Philippines citizens like: Costa Rica or Peru and getting married and filing CR1.

I am seeing some project it maybe mid 2023 until Philippines hits Herd Immunity and in my opinion that is when Manila will start doing routine K1 visa interviews.   I am thinking it will be sometime late 2022 when they hit herd.

We are in the same situation. Filed Dec 2019, NOA2 was in June of 2020. It's a frustrating wait. My fiancée's children are growing up behind the camera and we want very much to have more kids. We joined a litigation against the US Embassy in Manila in April and are hopeful to get our case moving soon.

Got our NOA2 Dec 2020. Given the timelines of those ahead of us and still do not have an interview sched yet, we might be have our chance 4Q 2022 or 2023. To think that even if we got our K1 visa by then, AOS/EAD is also taking at least a year. Oh well.
