I heard this pastor on a talk-radio interview.  If everyone had his courage, conviction, and powers of expression, there'd be no more garbage happening anywhere in the Previously Free World.

Loved this part.  So more than a year into this and the State can come up with medical or scientific evidence to support the health orders?  On a side note, several colleague in Ontario have told me that the vaccine roll-out in Canada is atrocious.  Even though CA started a week or two before the US and has four vaccines available (M, P, AZ, & J&J), they have something like 3% of the population fully vaccinated and around 33% with one dose.  A friend of mine that lives in CA, but works in the US and is in their early 30s had a much easier time getting a vaccine in the US than in CA.  It is also interesting that CA is restricting the populations exposure to sunlight as Ontario has closed all golf courses.

 

The trial will proceed for up to four days initially, but will then be adjourned because government lawyers are not yet prepared to present any medical or scientific evidence that might support the health orders under which Pastor Coates is charged.

  The penalties for violating public health orders in Alberta are clear. These guys wanted the publicity. Now they got it.

I think the question is the farce of the public health emergency and the need for the draconian orders.  The public health experts are losing more and more credibility everyday.

There is no scientific support for the view that Alberta's guidance is unnecessary given the public health concerns.

Where is the science in support of the orders?  Were there outbreaks traced to the church?  As I said, the public health officials are losing a lot of credibility when they keep saying they are following the science, but failing to actually share that science.  In the end, the cops were just following orders, where did we hear that before?

The orders put in place across Canada have saved lives. It is tiresome to explain, again and again, why social distancing works.  At this point it is common sense, to anyone who chooses to observe.

Weren't the services socially distant?  But I guess freedom is a lost cause. Go back and read the initial article, the lawyers for the state have asked for a delay because they cannot come up with the scientific evidence to back up the orders.
