After receiving no response from the US Embassy in Philippines, I emailed them again through a different support link. I assume that it's an automated response; however, I'm at a lost, I don't have any idea how to advance from here. Is someone going through the same issue? Manila is back lockdown again but I did not see any announcement regarding their position. I screenshot the response I received but it basically says I have to file again and start case from scratch, unless, I can prove that it was out of my control. How do I do that precisely?

Thank you for any kind of response!

You need to explicitly layout your situation including a timeline.

YMMV

It doesn’t say that.  It says you didn’t act in time.  So your petitioner has to file a new case with USCIS.

I assumed this was Philippines embassy just by reading the title, lol.

Does your CEAC say “Expired”? My friend got this same message, along with many other people on a FB group. I’ll probably be expecting this message soon as well. Some sent a letter of reinstatement to the PH support email and say that worked, my friend said he wrote to the State Department, some just sent screenshots of case expired to the embassy. Hope this helped or at least shed some light. This is happening to tons of people, you aren’t alone.

It sounds from here that your one year window has closed.

If:  it has I do not believe you have a path and will probably have to start over.

This has happened to many people. The visa application expires after a year by default. I would continue reaching out to the embassy and providing proof that it was due to circumstances beyond your control and that you still intend to continue with your visa process. I've also been reaching out to my embassy and all I get is automated responses. However, someone posted recently that their case was renewed (also from the Philippines). 2.thumb.png.8ca48d9337ecaf67dfb5770528fc1056.png
