  1. No problem!😉 thank you very much, I wish you two the best as well & really hope your fiancé gets his visa soon!♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻
  2. My case changed to “Administrative Processing” two days after our interview. Then on 06/24/21 it updated but remained in AP. On 07/19/21 it changed to “Application Received”. On 07/21/21 it was “Issued” and on 07/23/21 we got the email to pick up his passport with visa. I really don’t know what took so long because I emailed the Embassy to ask if they needed any additional documentation because it was taking so long but, they never requested anything. From what I’ve read here every case goes through AP after approval, some undergo AP for 2 days others two weeks or even two months. It’s hard to say how long it takes for your case to complete necessary administrative processing.
  3. Make sure to check the status of the passport before canceling your flight because once my case changed to “application received” it was issued two days after. Right I don’t understand either what took so long. I’ve seen others receive their visa in a week or less. I guess every case is different. Best of luck to you!
  4. What is the status of your visa on CEAC? It seems like there is a delay in the issuance of visas at the Santo Domingo Embassy. Our interview was on 06/15/21 and were told our passport would be ready for pick up in two weeks. We also booked our flight three weeks out thinking that would be plenty of time (not advised) but, had to cancel our flight. Our visa was issued yesterday!🙌🏻🙌🏻 We are now just waiting on the email to pick up the passport. Hopefully they issue your fiancé’s visa soon!
  5. Congratulations!!🎉 We had ours on 6/15 and were approved as well. Such a great feeling!
  6. Yes, I would email a screenshot of my case status every time I would email them. The last email I sent them days before my case was updated I sent a signed letter stating my fiancé and I were still interested in proceeding with the visa, screen shots of everything (noa1, noa2,etc). Hopefully, they update your case soon and schedule you an interview!
  7. Thanks for the info! Which clinic did you go to?
  8. Keep emailing them. I did that for almost three months. My case expired Feb.19, 2021 and it was finally updated May 6th. I just got my interview date today. I know it's frustrating but, they will eventually update it.
  9. This has happened to many people. The visa application expires after a year by default. I would continue reaching out to the embassy and providing proof that it was due to circumstances beyond your control and that you still intend to continue with your visa process. I've also been reaching out to my embassy and all I get is automated responses. However, someone posted recently that their case was renewed (also from the Philippines).
  10. Yes, same with the embassy in the DR. They’re not giving much notice only 1-2 weeks.
  11. Congrats! 🥳🥳🙌🏻We have very similar timelines, I hope my interview comes soon. It’s been so long I wasn’t sure if this thread was still active since no one posted any updates anymore. Soo happy for you!😊
  12. Well the embassy in the DR has only been scheduling emergency interviews. So your case is expired and it still lets you reschedule?
