Yes, you are right. I thought FX counts dependent which I was wrong. 

 

The 2% dependent area limit means countries like British Virgin Islands which is under UK, not the dependent of Family or Employment based visas. 

 

So, that means DR has already crossed the 7% per country limit unless DR also has a dependent area.

They can’t have gone over the country cap, it’s simply not possible. It’s a legal limit. 
 

USCIS do say that the monthly stats don’t give an accurate number if they’re added up, due to the way they calculate it, and that only the annual FY report is accurate -

They still have a month to go to go even more over. Not sure when USCIS will step in and apply the 7% quota. They are 1643 over + another 2400 next month means they will be 4000+ over this year. 

 

It's hard to see which year that extra 4000 visas will be included. It's not 500-1000 extra we are talking about.

But you're using stats that it clearly says can't be used to calculate the annual figures. You need to wait for the FY data to be released.

As expected. Fact they've released VB this early may mean they have the Visa numbers figured out already for the next couple of months.

 

Mexico moved 4 months, hopefully when rest of the world starts moving it will be at that pace or more!

 

As mentioned, let's hope our predictions with the backlog report stands.

Like you, I am also waiting for interview to be scheduled. My daughter's case has been Dq'd since 01/06/22 with PD 06/07/2012..I have been emailing for updates, the answer is still the same: wait till it becomes current.

Yes, absolutely no point in chasing it until the PD is current. No interview can be scheduled until then as a visa simply isn't available.

 

Did you decide to apply for citizenship as per your previous thread? That might make it a bit quicker when you have it.
