Did you apply for a work permit together with your I-360? There is a box that you need to check in the petiion if you want to receive a work permit when your vawa is approved. I received my C31 2.5 months before I received tha approval letter but I am not sure it is still how it works - a lot of things changed during covid

Hi VAWA Community, I got a status update on my I360 today on 30MAR21 "New Card is Being Produced". Receipt date is 24APR19. Total 3 Prima Facie's and 3 EAD+AP Cards while pending.

This is your C31 work permit! Congrats!!!

I-485 is typically transferred a couple of months or weeks after approval. Sometimes same day, sometimes they don’t really tell you it was transferred

I think my stupid lawyer filed i765 c31 separately all together. That’s why i have receipt for i765 too n it still says fees were waived. I read someone else’s timeline having the same issue as mine. Her EAD got approved after 3 weeks of her vawa approval. I hope mine will get approved soon too. I need to get driver license ASAP

I did it in the Bronx, but check USCIS website to find a certified doctor around your area.

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Anyone know if terminating removal proceedings with an approved I-360 is doable these days? I know that under AG Sessions it became neigh impossible but I'm hoping for a return to the old Obama-era policy where you can file a motion to terminate if you are eligible for AOS.

 

@sandranj I'm pinging you because you're like the only person in this thread actually versed with the current court procedures.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.
