Congratulations @Fil&Em !!! I've been regularly checking this thread to follow everyone who hadn't been approved yet and it's always exciting when another one of us March 2021 K-1 filers makes it to NOA2. So sorry that it almost took 400 days, but it's great that it's finally over.

Can't wait until everyone here can move on and the book is closed on March 2021. It was a crazy wait, but thank goodness we all managed to get NOA1 by March at least. I couldn't imagine having been in April, May or later at this rate 😭 If anyone from a later month is reading this, my heart goes out to you, I truly hope they figure things out and get their system rolling smoother.

Many thanks! We will continue around here until everyone is out of March hell!!

I know but apart from you some people exclude this batch from the March group.

and since we might be loosing you which is a good thing

On ANOTHER NOTE.. we can file an out of processing times when the date we submitted the application has passed and not when we received the receipt, right?

noa1 date.

When you search your case on the case tracker, the date it says is the inquiry date

thats how it worked for me at least

Yes. Exactly, what we usually call the received date. Which you can find on the note, and also when you search your case number on the USCIS web.

I'll try my best to keep posting the numbers :)

HELLO,

Guess What???? I got APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited i could burst

in my heart i just knew mine was close when @Fil&Em said he was approved

Thank you for all the support

On to the next step... @Fil&Em  what exactly have you guys done since you got approved, its overwhelming and dont know where to start yet

Congratulations!! Really happy for you both! We get really excited when another couple gets approved. It has been a ride. Take some time to celebrate!! Little by little March is being cleaned!

To be fair, not much yet. I have been pre-preparing documentation that may be required at embassy level, but we still have to contact NVC and ensure it goes to the right embassy. Will have to look into the next steps between today and tomorrow.

Apologies, but it is holiday here so I was busy with other stuff and took longer to complete the first scan. There is significant time difference between first half and second half of the groups, but it will be corrected later.

I added the few RFEs that came on Saturday as today's approvals, but even without it it is not a bad day for pending cases yet (compared to all we have been seeing):

Greetings and best wishes to all,

We just had our interview, and was approved!!! See our Timeline.

Looking back at my June 2021 post predicting our interview date to be mid-April 2022, we were actually fairly accurate thanks to the Visajourney stats pages.

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/758635-march-2021-k1-i-129f-filers/?do=findComment&comment=10475467

Our NOA2 took longer than expected, but that was made up with a reduced NVC processing time. But the interview date prediction was fairly accurate.

So to those who have not filled out your Timeline, please complete it so that your data helps Visajourney improve the stats pages.

Thanks, and keep the faith!!!

Congratulations!!!!!! 🎉🥳🥂

Depends on embassy, but you can start filling out DS160 and schedule your medical or interview. It probably should be ready in 2 or 3 days.

That looks like good news.

So that means some embassies schedule the interview and not you?

In Ireland yup. As soon as you get your case number you can book yourself medical. And when you get the result you submit to them what they call the notification of readiness and only then they’ll schedule your interview.

In my case I contacted them after case status was ready and I filled out DS 260, then they sent me p3 packet and said to notify them after I gathered the documents. I sent the notification via email and then they sent my interview date and informed me where to do the medical and that I must do it before the interview. It seems that steps are a bit  different in every country.

PS As far as I know covide vaccine is a must in order to pass the medical.
