I know there’s nothing we can do but be patient, but anyone else going crazy here? Feels like we’ve been on the same couple days forever without any serious progress. Any good coping mechanisms (or entertaining anecdotes) to share while we try to get through this final stretch? 😅

A visit?  It helped me. I spent over 2 weeks in Russia last month. 243 days and counting….

Yea I'm hoping this will help me! Looking to finally fly over to the US in Nov once the borders are open. Will have been nearly 2 years since I last saw her :(

Yes going crazy here as well 😓 I'm so thankful we have this forum for exchange. I have days where I feel it's never going to happen 😐

Glad I’m not alone at least! And agree that a visit would help - hoping to make that happen soon. I wish time would just skip ahead 6 months or so to when we’re all reunited with our partners!

Hi everyone. Maybe someone has a better idea of what going on with USCIS and can help me to understand better.

Our case was approved on September 13th but we got our Notification letter yesterday. That's OK. But, I just checked on my "case status" again and now it says that our case was approved October 8!! 🤨😫 I don't know what to expect anymore.  So now we need to wait for another month to hear news from NVC?? We've been already waiting for a month today from our first notification. So confusing 😕

Any insights? TIA

Hi, we have seen this with a numerous amount of cases, for some reason the dates on the websites are changing and we don't know why, I would just go off the date on the notice you received and ignore the website.

That's what I want, to go off and ignore this website but I can't help to get anxious about it. Thanks Benny4352

256 days of wait for us. NOA 1- Feb 1. Applied for outside normal processing and heard back yesterday with a generic email:

".....We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload."

It looks like they have been aggressively processing 2/8-2/19 NOA 1 cases  for the last two days. I guess the strategy is to work on cases before their processing deadline(8 months) as much as possible. Do forward progress as much as possible and deal with delayed cases later perhaps before 8.5 months has passed. This is only a theory based on the pattern I am seeing on the spreadsheet.

Ahh possibly, guess that would make sense but still sucks for those that are left behind. Hope you hear some good news soon!

I have a question regarding the approval of cases.

Some cases that have been previously approved are being reapproved.

For example Case WAC2190050519 was already approved sept 27 and today it shows that it was approved today oct 7.

This isn't the only one that I've noticed this happening to. Any ideas what's going on?

I just read that there was a change in policies. Therefore the already approved cased had to be double checked. Seems like that's the reason for this weirdness. Not very efficient as well 🙄
