Hello I just wanted to know if my now wife is able to travel to Puerto Rico. We got married already and her k1 visa expired. We have already filed the I-485, I-765, and I-131. She doesn’t have her combo card yet but she already did her biometrics but it hasn’t been approved yet. Has anyone gone to PR. It sounds like there shouldn’t be a problem but I’m still trying to see if anyone has done it already?

Yes, she can directly travel between US mainland and Puerto Rico: https://web.archive.org/web/20190824072204/https://www.uscis.gov/archive/blog/2014/05/five-questions-about-advance-parole_9

Do I need advance parole if I am flying from the continental United States to Puerto Rico?  What about Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, or the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands?
No, advance parole would not be needed if you travel directly between parts of the United States, which includes Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), without entering a foreign port or place.

It’s no different from flying to Alaska or Hawaii from your perspective. The only problem you *might* encounter is if there is an emergency onboard the aircraft and you are forced to divert elsewhere. I was on a plane once from Norway to the US and a passenger had a heart attack onboard so we landed in Canada to get him off and to a hospital. There were Russian passengers onboard who would need visas for Canada. Fortunately we all remained on the aircraft, did not officially enter Canada, and the flight continued same day but that’s not always the case.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Brazil

Puerto Rico is considered domestic, so enjoy the travel.
