Why you sent to Dallas?

Thats the address i had found when doing my paperwork. They will send it to the service center that it needs to be at. They go through and put everything in order and forward it on.

this is straight from the uscis website on the lockboxes.  They will relocate them if they proceed it. If not they return them and since its been 20 days and no return im guessing the relocated it.

If you mailed your form to an incorrect Lockbox facility, your submission may be forwarded to the correct processing facility. However, if your form is not processed by a Lockbox facility, your package will be returned to the address provided on your forms.

This may be true, but this will take a long long time. They have not even started processing the ones that reached the correct address a month back. I doubt they can start sending  the forms from another state texas to arizona in time. My honest advice is to call uscis and seek their opinion on how to proceed.

I already have. They said if they have receive it by error they relocate it right away. Opening and processing are two different things. Everyone needs to calm down and let the system work. They are shorthanded due to covid like everyone else. Which is why they said they will take any form that is within 60 days after the due date as on time.

Mailed my application today 12/29 via USPS. Later than I would have liked (my 90-day window opened at the end of October), but life got hectic for a bit.

Yes it is good to know. But the uscis automated phone is a pain.

Hello everyone,

My window opened December 12. I filed for i-751 in December 16 thru FedEx and USCIS received it the next day. I was getting worried because I’m not getting any update - no NOA, check hasn’t been cashed - nothing. But thank god I found this thread. I guess because of the pandemic and the holidays, it’s taking a while for USICS to process applications.

Anyway, good luck! I’ll be posting updates as soon as I receive one.
