I-751 Removal of Conditions interview. Need help

Hello, Has anybody here experienced interview for ROC (removal of conditions)? My case went to Ready to be Scheduled for interview last Saturday after almost a year of waiting. But still waiting for the letter in the mail to make it official though. What are the questions typically asked? Should hubby be present too at the interview? Thanks is advance.

Usually you should expect another update that says "Interview is Scheduled."

Hi yes, I went to the process way back 2016, in my case, the IO was super nice and cool. It was like we interviewed him, hahahah 

Also I believed that the IO only want to see if I am  still married with my spouse. It was like casual questions and ensuring if the marriage is legit. I think prior to the interview (maybe an hour or so before he called us to be interviewed),

,he went through the docs we submitted and he Kinda asked about our vacation with my father in law and I believe the IO want to see if I was really living with my spouse because he asked about the place near our area.

Just be calmed and be yourself, I know it is nerved wracking but it is easy.

Yes your spouse needs to be there because he is your petitioner.

I think about 3 to 4 weeks from the date of the email. They will give you some time to prepare and gather docs, pls bring some docs of mutual shared docs (just in case they asked for the new docs) it is most likely same stuff like you sent when u applied initially.

I got my letter for interview date, 3 days after they send me an online notification. Your spouse should  be present and the letter instructs you what to bring with you. You maybe have submitted everything already, but this is USCIS so bring all your documents with you. If everything is legit, you have nothing to fear. Good luck with everything.

I got one for my ROC.
- Bring spouse
- Bring everything you have ever submitted with you (just in case something goes missing last minute)
- Bring originals of important documents and a copy.
- Bring any additional co-mingling evidence not yet submitted
There is a decent change you won't have to show much but better be over prepared than to receive an RFE at the interview

Thanks!! However I still don’t have the letter sent to me it’s been a week now.   should i be worried?

Ready to be scheduled does not mean scheduled. Some People have had that status for months before getting their interview scheduled. 

 

The notification /status you should look for is 

That the interview has been scheduled it will also say they have mailed you a notice. So your interview hasn't been scheduled yet.

Our Condition Removal interview is scheduled for next month. We have gone on vacations 15 times in 3 years, have accumulated almost a book of boarding cards for all the trips we took to travel overseas to see each other. We also have solid evidences of joint financial investments, and all kinds of joint EVERTYTING etc. BUT we have not been physically living together since marriage ... should we let an attorney represent us during the interview?

Hey! So my status changed online on 11/4/2020 and I am still waiting for the letter though up to this day it has not changed ever since. Does it really take this long? It’s more than a month now.

Hello! Ideally it shouldn't have taken this long, please contact them asap,  your service center might have a backlog or something went wrong with usps. The morning time would be the best to call them. If you have an online account with them, the letter should be in your documents online if it was sent out. Give them a call.

Did you get a ref? anyone know why there's second interview.? so frustrating ..

It was another 5 month wait for me after "Ready to be Scheduled" to actual "Scheduled" Now I'm just waiting for the letter in the mail.
