I just got approved today!! NOA1 was on November 2. I’m hoping that it won’t take long to get to NVC/to El Salvador!

Received NOA2 yesterday, 26 June 2021! NOA 1 received 5 Nov 2020. Hope everyone else gets their responses soon!

So I did some digging, and it does appear they are bogged down with November and even still some October files as of today.    It looks like they tend to process most of them over two or so

Just an idea my application was received on November 27th and the check was cashed February 23rd and I got my NOA1 text notification February 25th.

11/21/20: I-129F packet shipped via USPS

11/25/20: I-129F delivered to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville)

11/27/20: Backdated I-129F "received date"

2/23/21: I-129F fee charged to bank account

2/25/21: Text alert NOA1 Receipt/Case Number

3/3/21 :  Received NOA1 Letter in the mail

You should be able to add the NOA1. If the trouble you're having is that VisaJourney says too much time has passed, you need to be entering the "received date" on the form (which should be backdated to when they actually got it), not the "notice date".

So once I received my NOA1 it has a received date of Feb 19th but the actual application was received at the lockbox on November 27th does this mean that they will use the February 19th date to process my case?

This forum kept me sane over the last 2 months so I wanted to chime in and do my part. We were late November, I used an attorney and a cashiers check. So I didn't know when/if it was cashed, or that they even received it. My lawyer had no idea what was going on and she had filed 3 throughout November, mine being the last. This forum was the only good news I had, and we just had to have faith in the process that everyone here was figuring out as they went. A week ago my lawyer said that her first Novembers were getting their notices so I felt sure ours was coming. Well, we got the text from USCIS on Wednesday at 7:40pm. Thank God. And thank all of you. 

 

To everyone still waiting and from December/January filers looking back to prior months for hope like I was.. Stay Strong, it's coming!!

i got mine cashed on the 23th and got the NOA1 text on Feb 25th.

Just to make sure, are you putting in the 27th?  or are you putting in February?  The timeline wants the backdate and not the current date (not today or within the last few days because USCIS shows it as being received/backdated on 27 NOV.

i put the november date because my application was received Nov. 27th but i didnt get my NOA1 until Feb 25th

Yeah.  Just because of the delay and the timeline not being built for it, it is best to put your actual dates in comments and then use the timeline sheet for what the backdates are.  Unless one of the mods has a workaround for it.  I was going to put in my backdate for NOA1 and go from there.
