First, congrats on your approval! When did you receive the first update that they were reviewing your case?

Hey,

we filed mid June too and still waiting on NOA2 (Potomac). Average processing times are going up and down a lot ...

Oh man, I'm sorry it's taking so long.  I do not know how much of a difference there is between Potomac processing times and Nebraska (where ours was processed).  We were actually quite surprised by how quickly ours came it really did come out of the blue.  There was no indiciation from them that we were close to a decision being made.  Further, our NVC has been really quick.  I would recommend that you take a look at the documents that you will have to provide to them and have them ready.  It took us about a month to obtain everything which slowed us down and I don't want that for you.  Example...my husband's police certificates took weeks to receive here in the UK.

Out NVC completion was done it two weeks which was so much quicker than we expected.  Now just awaiting an interview at the Embassy in London.  I'm not telling you this to brag but to provide a bit of hope that the next stage will be quick for you.  Best of luck and keep me posted!

Hi All. Any of the June 2020 I-130 filers have had their case transferred to Vermont? My NOA1 was from Texas but sometime back I inquired and was informed that my case was in Vermont. Anyone had similar experience?

I’m an April 2020 filer but I have the exactly same situation as you. My case transferred to Potomac from Nebraska without notice. I knew it one week ago and am so confused

Congrats and best of luck on the next step. Did you get NOA2 approval from Texas itself or any other service centre?
