Woo! My partner got the text last night, so we finally have our NOA1!! Let's hope London gets their stuff together and starts processing K-1s!

Question, will our letter have more information on it? - or just say it has been received?

Congrats! Did they also receive an email as well? I’m currently in the UK for the holidays with my partner, and can only receive iMessages while here. I’m hoping I’m not missing anything as they still haven’t taken the money out of my account, however, it’s been 1.5 months since our I-129F was delivered, so I imagined the NOA1 has to be coming soon....

I need to change my mailing address, but can’t figure out how to since I haven’t even received our NOA1 yet. It’s been 1.5 months since the original submission was received. I did fill out the G-1145, but concerned about what may be sent to my old address now. Any thoughts/ideas/advice?

To facilitate a timely processing of immigrant visa applications, all applicants are reminded to register their delivery address online. Failure to designate a delivery address prior to your appointment date will result in delayed delivery of your passport and visa. To register online, click on the “Select Document Delivery Address” link under the Immigrant Visas section of our website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/). Once there, click on "More Actions" link to register a delivery address for the first time, or to change an existing delivery address. If you have any question(s) on how to register a delivery address, please contact Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service Center at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502.

If they have not removed the fee from your mode of payment, then you have not been officially accepted and a NOA1 would not have been generated. 1.5 months his pushing the limits of what we have seen. Next week if they have not removed the money then you should call customer service at USCIS.

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you an update. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.

The service is available to most communities, but some are still being rolled out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service. A person in the USA can sign up for this free service here:

You can also use the USPS Mobile app available in the Google play store.

Yeah same story for me as well. I'm at more than 6 weeks now and not a word. No money taken out of my account or anything. Maybe it's a good thing that it's apparently not only me, but this doesn't seem right. I sent mine October 27th and it would have been received October 31 which is a Saturday so presumably 11/2? I have another problem in that the local post office screwed up my receipt and so I've had no way of tracking mine although I have no reason to believe it didn't get there. At what point do I assume it's lost? I did call them and it was a complete waste of time.

I'm in the same boat. I sent the application 10/31 and it was received on 11/4. The check isn't cashed yet. I hope we get an update this week.

Send them an email (you will

not get a response of course but you keep documented) subsequently you can file a formal request of information to the USCIS Ombudsman in Washington, don’t forget to send copies to your Senator and Congressmen. If all of us being affected by this file complaints perhaps the agency gets a message. Don’t pay attention to discouraging messages from some people that say you must wait or that the agency is self financed .... at the end of the day USCIS is a government agency and we are the Citizens with the right to petition our government. They are not doing us a favor, they work for the American people - never forget that.

If you're waiting for your NOA1, USCIS is running way behind on the issuance of said document. Don't be concerned, alarmed, anxious, disappointed or any other adverb as they will be there shortly. A delay in the NOA1 is not going to affect you in anyway except it will take longer to adjudicate your case to a NOA2.

Current processing of the issuance for a NOA1 is about 4-6 weeks. You are earlier in your expectations. A couple of key factors to look for is 1) has your tracking indicated the package was received? 2) Has your form of payment been executed? Having those two completed then you are close to receiving your NOA1.

Also, we need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

@Greenbaum the frustration is really a combination of general delays till my fiancé gets the visa and the travel restrictions that blocked us from seeing each other for about a year. The tracking indicated the packaged was received on 11/4. So it's almost 6 weeks in a couple of days. No payment was executed (check wasn't cashed)

Wait you haven't received any correspondence from USCIS in 1.5 months? That's not right, I would call and enquire. I didn't receive any email. We only received a text and the mailed confirmation, in addition to the payment being taken. We didn't have to wait overly long in the grand scheme of things. I'm really glad you're in the UK at the moment with your partner, I'm trying to figure out when mine will be coming here too! I'm so sorry your NOA1 is taking so long, that's really bizarre.

Like I said it is running about 4-6 weeks for NOA1's to be released. You say you are "almost 6 weeks" and I advise that you call next week to the CS department for USCIS.

Thank you for completing your profile. It will help us along the way to opine about you as we have the necessary information to advise you on matters that concern you. Good luck and stay engaged.

It may seem bizarre, but it is not as many in the different threads have said the same about how long theirs were taking and most now are on 6 weeks when they hear. Calling now will only tie of the phone lines and the predication I made is from "boots on the ground" information. What was true for you, may not be true for anyone else. Been here long enough to see this. Patience is needed during any part of this process. If they have not heard anything by next week then it would be prudent to make the phone call.

Just an update. Still nothing for me. Sent 10/27 received 10/31. 6 weeks 2 days.

Hey just wanted to let you know I sent mine out 10/28 received 11/02 and haven't heard anything either. I was getting worried since it looks like a couple people who sent theirs AFTER me have got their NOA1 already :(  It's reassuring to know it's not just me who feels skipped over.

I sent a money order that I got from my bank. Does anybody know if I'm able to track that to check if they've cashed it??
