Hey when was your DQ? My Documents were complete at NVC On july 6 2021 but I didnt receive any interview letter yet.

I am not sure which embassy you are dealing with. But each country works differently. In some you need to wait for NVC to decide the date. Others they'll send a letter with the date. In Italy you have to book the appointment through
https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-it/iv/users/sign_in.iv

I am waiting for a letter from Naples for CR1.

I'm not sure if CR1 has the same process as K1 but you can take a look at that site

In the portal, they ask if I received a letter or email with instructions. Did you receive one before making the appointment or did you just go ahead and make it?

I just went ahead and made it since there is another user here who received the letter that told him to book it this way.

So at the interview, didn’t they ask if you had a letter or email? It says if you don’t have one they will turn you away?

The interview is after two months (that was the earliest). I hope I'll have it by then

Ohh okay Got it. Thanks. I think it may be working differently for Cr1 visas so I will try calling NVC again. Good luck to you☺ï¸

Thank you. Good luck to you too

Hi Fenice, I am waiting for my consulate letter for my K1 as well and I did not schedule the appointment coz I don't know if I can. Everytime I call the embassy they tell me that I must wait for their letter.. What should I do? Did you get your letter yet? Do you think that in the letter they can give as a different date for the interview? Pls help

Hi Deborah. I know the issue. I didn't receive it either but I booked anyway since it was already couple of months away. I know others who never received it and others who got it after months telling them just to book. It's a little bit chaotic to say the least

So you are confident that they won't write any different interview date in the letter?
And do we need to provide that letter during the appointment?

For any one who I contacted they didn't specify the date. The fact the someone did it without the letter tells me that it's not that important. But I was really hoping to get it while waiting for the appointment date

Ok Im going to schedule the interview as well then. I don't want to wait till next year for that letter. Fingers crossed and good luck xx

Thank you. Good luck to you too

Where do I schedule the medical examination after the schedule of the interview?

It says you don't have to. You can go the date before the interview at 8am. It's going to be explained with the appointment confirmation emails

Ah great thanks
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
