I see that many of you are posting your timeline recently and I appreciate you all doing that. This information helps us all. Speaking from my own experience, going through AOS during these trying times of global pandemic, and USCIS rule-changes by the hour, navigating the AOS process is of course extremely stressful. I had some free time today, so I decided to look back through this thread and created a spreadsheet with all the dates of various actions that we have posted so far. Following is the screenshot and the link. I hope this helps us all, especially those who are yet to receive the NoAs. Wow @nendu, the spreadsheet looks great! Thanks for setting this up. I agree with you that this experience is super stressful, and I definitely think that it will help us all have a better idea of how each of our processes are progressing.

@nendu  Thank you for sharing the spreadsheet. It really helps all of us in this wonderful online group. I almost check the SMS inbox message each day to see if we get text notification from USCIS. Well, I guess it is a daily behavior due to stress and anxiety. 🙂

Anxiously awaiting confirmation but it makes me feel a little better to see others with the same delivery date haven’t heard anything yet either!

Latest updates!

 

1. 09/26/2020 (Saturday afternoon at like 3pm) - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using UPS
2. 09/29/2020 (Tuesday morning at like 9am) - Application received by USCIS
3. 10/20/2020 (Tuesday afternoon) - Two pending transactions (Chase Check)
4. 10/20/2020 (Tuesday afternoon at 5:23pm) - Received 4 text messages with receipt numbers starting with MSC

The transactions show as "pending" on our chase account. Well, only the petitioner received the 4 text messages.

 

Does anyone know how to figure out which receipt number refers to which application?

Go to USCIS case tracker site and put in the receipt numbers there and you will be able to tell which one is related to what form.

I am using the lawfully app on my phone to track. I like it. You install the app and save your case# and then whenever you open the app and go to the "my cases" tab it automatically shows the updated status. I think what it does is basically pulls the information from the USCIS case tracker site.

Update:

 

9/25/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox 

9/29/2020 - Package delivered to lockbox. 
10/21/2020 - Received 4 texts! Around 8:30pm 

 

*We sent money orders issued through our bank. I’m not really familiar with using money orders so I’m not sure if there’s a way to see if it’s been cashed or how that works.

I am a late September filer. However, I did file my AOS application at end of August, which was rejected and returned to me by end of September due to issue with credit card payment. I refiled and this time (also added the I-944 this time) it got accepted. Sharing my timeline of refiling for reference:

 

AOS filing type: Concurrent I-130/I-485 with I-765 and I-131

Mailing date: 09/28/20

Receipt date: 09/29/20

Checks cashed: 10/20/20

E-notification texts received: 10/20/20

 

Checking the receipt numbers on the USCIS e-gov site shows that I should expect the physical NOAs in the mail by 10/29/20 at the latest.

Analyzing the receipt numbers indicates that the I-130 is transferred to Potomac service center, while the rest of the applications are transferred to NBC.

Did everyone file the I-944 too? I am starting to get a bit concerned that my check has not yet been cashed. Next week will be one month, trying to be patient.

 

You guys who have had your money taken are lucky! At least some stress is over :).
