My wife just completed her interview a couple of days ago. On the NVC Case Tracker website, this message has appeared:

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted...

is there any need to be concerned? Thanks!

Not at this point.  Administrative Processing is a normal stage after the interview to at least get the visa attached to the passport, but also could include further background checks, or things like that.  Most of the time AP lasts a few days to a few weeks, but in some cases I have heard it going much longer.  So no reason to be alarmed at this point unless your wife had any concerns during the interview.

Good Luck!

Hey, don’t mind at all. We got the DQ date in the beginning of July, and it was a little over a month later that we got our interview email and date.

Just letting everyone know that there was no problem. It was changed to “Issued” a couple of days later, and the lovely wife is in possession of her I-551 stamp!

Congratulations!!!! This is wonderful news for you both!

How many business days for you to receive the approval?
