I need some help please!

My husband is a US citizen and I am Filipina and I have valid tourist visa. We’re planning to go to States but I am not sure if they will allow me to enter because Im holding a visit visa only.  I’m trying to check if they still suspended the visitor’s visa but I can’t find an answer 😞

Please help me.

thank you!

The only visas that have suspended entry in to the US are those immigrant visas under EO. Since yours is a non immigrant visa then there shouldnt be any problem coming in the US.

All visas already issued remain valid. You are welcome to visit. Please note that as a visitor entry will be solely at the discretion of the officer at the airport. But you are absolutely allowed to travel to the border and request admission.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Thank you so

much for the information. It’s a big help for me 😊

The US government didn't revoke already issued visas nor banned new issuance. You can travel to US POE with your tourist visa.

Not accurate, any issued visa is valid, it is people who do not yet have those visas who got their process suspended.

To answer OP, visit visas have always been and remain valid for entry, and as a spouse of USC you are also exempt from the Covid travel ban (travel from or through a banned Covid country (uk/Ireland/schengen/China/Brazil) in the 14 days before entry).

You're allowed to visit, but entry is at the discretion of CBP officers like always.  Also, bring your marriage certificate.

Keep in mind that you must have ties to home and a plan for returning home.  You cannot come to the US on a B visa and stay.

Have you checked with BI to make sure you can leave the Philippines?  That may be your biggest hurdle

Actually, getting out of the Philippines is not a problem, I think especially if you are a Filipino married to a foreigner. My USC husband and I left for a 2-week holiday in another country (not the US) earlier this month and have since come back. No fuss getting out from the airport in Manila. Coming back in with a foreigner spouse is the trickiest part of the trip for 2 reasons:

1. Spouses of Filipino citizens should have valid visas to the Philippines prior to their arrival. Before they let you board your flight to Manila, the airline crew would have to see the visa; and

2. Arriving passengers must undergo a mandatory PCR swab test at designated booths at the airport and show proof of a hotel booking where they should stay while waiting for the results of the swab test.

The queue coming back is quite long and airport staff would check on each of the arriving guests.  But I give the Philippine airports credit for streamlining the process. There are also 5-6 forms you should have with you upon arrival.
