I had interview n July 30th, 2020... after the interview, the interviewer told me that all documents from my side is ok and that there's a delay on paperwork from Embassy side.... additionally I had already uploaded all necessary documents on CEAC before the interview... I got 221g and they took my passport... does that mean they intend to issue me a passport or something else?

This appears to be normal administrative processing.  Pakistan cases are commonly held in this status for extended periods. It could be a few days, week, or months...There is nothing you can do except wait it out.  They kept the passport....which is a good sign......good luck.

But you are from Pakistan- it’s very common to go through extensive AP vetting background checks. There was also a denial for a k1 for a reason.

It doesnt matter what the CO says at the time of the interview. Cases from Pakistan more often than not go through a long AP process (usually many months), because the US can not rely on the police certificates issued by pakistan

K1 denials are very common in Pakistan, so don't worry about that.  They kept your passport, so they intend to give you the visa, as long as there are no issues in the background checks.  I have heard of someone getting their visa in 4 days, and then there are cases that take 1-2 years.  Try your best to be patient and live your life.  Inquire every couple of months, if it takes that long, so you are not forgotten.

May have been too married for a K1 not married enough for a CR1 judging from past posts.

Thanks.  I asked since marriage doesn't cure all denials........but it does cure the "too married for a K-1" condition......

OP can conform, I could be wrong, just going from the tone of past posts.

There was mention of a Skype wedding? Otherwise lack of relationship evidence is the usual reason.
