I just filed for my mom. Did you guys upload more evidence than the birth certificate? Idk, for my past cases I added so many documents that I feel I didn't put enough in this one 🙁

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love.

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me.

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

Evidence of the parental relationship is usually much simpler than spouse !

Hello guys! Hope someone can give me some thoughts.

I recently became a us citizen and I was planning to petition for both of my parents.

We we had a consultation with an immigration attorney and we were told one of my parents doesn’t qualify because this parent had different entrances (all with a visa). We always thought the last entry was the one that is needed for paperwork. Only the parent with one entry was the one who qualified.

Anyone heard of anything similar to this?

After filing the application for my mom, I just got the first Notice. Do we have to wait for a visa number to be available for parents? I thought that was only for brothers.

Your not waiting on a visa number, your waiting for the I-130 to be processed and USCIS to make a decision. If Consular processing, after approval than the case will be sent to the NVC, then US embassy responsible for where your mom currently resides.
