Those numbers are irrelevant.

Those are just estimates. I dont go by estimates, I would dare say those numbers apply more to those who just sent out their N400.

That was my thought as well. I think it's more for people who either just sent theirs out or will do so later this year.

Those numbers do mean what they mean, if you can comprehend it.  

 

"The first number is the time it takes to complete 50% of cases (the median). The second number is the time it takes to complete 93% of cases."

I think it's fair to give them the benefit of the doubt that obviously it's difficult to predict things given the corona heckscape we're all in right now. I'm just glad the numbers went down to the 2 year mark (for the 93%) as opposed to the 4-5 year mark they had up before!

The main thing is that numbers are not a prediction (of the current/future cases), but they tell statistics of the past cases. It basically gives you an idea how things have been, but that doesn't need to stay true (as we have seen due to covid, resources, applicants, etc). 

 

PS. the past month numbers (as set to 12.5 to 36 months for virtually all centers) seemed to be either a system glitch or a try to no longer provide them. Good that it is back to what it intended to be.

My numbers were accurate for my I-751 and I-485. Both got approved exactly like the first number ( minimum)

If you are "lucky", there is 50% chance that you case is processed faster the first number (btw, that's the not minimum, that's the median!). And 50% risk that it takes longer. 

 

Lucky in this context may depend on your current location, born country, gender, race, etc

Says 6 to 10 months for Raleigh NC. I applied in February and I have my interview next week so about 5 months (despite the 'rona)... not sure how accurate these are.
