how long does an administrative action take at uscis? my case was sent back to uscis from nvc for administrative action and it's there since 15 april.

I have no idea how accurate it is, but this video about the NYC office has been posted in an immigration FB group. A NYC lawyer explains the strategy of NYC field office to open. Hope it helps.

What about the offices overseas? 
I am in Mexico, waiting to reschedule my interview in Cd Juarez. Seems like the consulate is still closed for interviews.

does anyone have any information regardless this consulate?

Reminder that embassies and consulates are not part of USCIS; they are part of DOS.

It seems most offices are open now but I haven't seen anyone state that they've received a notice that their interview has been rescheduled...

Does anyone know when "later" might possibly be and why ASCs are not opening with field offices? I am trying to submit paperwork for a fiance visa to enter the UK and need to complete my biometrics appointment at an ASC. The vagueness of "later" is driving my fiance and I crazy!

What do you mean by "to enter the UK"? And you don't do any biometrics with the USCIS ASC for a K-1, you only do it once you file for AOS which comes way later.

I am moving to the UK as a US citizen to marry my fiance who is a UK citizen. So it is not the same as the K-1; it is the UK equivalent. A step in the UK's process is attending a biometrics appointment in at a USCIS ASC.

Consulates are not the same as USCIS.  They are under the State Department.  Follow the website for the consulate for news.

I had no idea the USCIS provided some visa services for other countries, that's interesting. Your profile stated you're filing for a K-1 so that's where the confusion is coming from.

It is the same for getting a tourist visa to the UK for some foriegn passport holders.   We were supposed to get a VISA so Mary could attend a wedding this summer.

 

USCIS has to earn some money otherways.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. We considered applying for a K-1 then decided I would move to the UK, as it was supposed to be a quicker and simpler process. That was before covid-19 of course. So now we are waiting for Application Support Centers to open until we can move forward.
